Dean Evans


Dean originally qualified and started his career as a mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic design engineer dealing with national and international accounts for a major European Manufacturers.

He then joined a medium sized bathroom manufacturers based in Leeds and was an integral part of the team that over a five year period created a brand and positioned the business itself successfully for sale.

This experience led to starting his own agency over 20 years ago.

Specialising in B2B sales, marketing and branding, Dean has worked with some of the UK’s leading companies across a whole range of industries and market sectors.

More recently Dean has specialised in brand and positioning for businesses wishing to either sell, merge or acquire, and has been instrumental in the growth and success of numerous Northern based companies having extensive contacts and a deep understanding of the regional SME market, professional adviser and financial services industry.

Mark Bowness


Mark Bowness has spent the past 25 years building up a successful and distinguished career as a national journalist and publisher.

Having spent 10 years working as a Senior Feature Writer at The Sun newspaper he enjoyed a stint in television as the News Editor on the hugely successful Channel Four show The Big Breakfast.

He later moved to Italy to work as a foreign correspondent for a number of national newspapers and magazines, before returning to his Yorkshire roots in 2005 where he launched his own successful company Beyond Publishing.

With a team of talented designers and writers, the company produces award-winning Yorkshire lifestyle magazine beyond plus a number of corporate publications for national and international businesses including TAG Aviation, Skipton Building Society and Spire Health Care.

His reputation and creative vision have made him one of the UK’s most popular and sought-after writers and he remains a regular contributor to many national newspapers and magazines.

Lucie Gill


Lucie has more than 20 years’ experience helping SMEs with their operational, marketing and communications strategies.

Working with niche clients including sporting agents and leading design agencies, her expertise ranges from the efficient use of technology and systems to how best to promote a business to its optimum audience.

With a background spanning Industries such as sports, design and financial services and dealing with major brands and associations, Lucie has a strong understanding of how to run and promote a business, and how ultimately to plan for exit and acquisition.
